Join the CoSy Training Management System

Getting Started with CoSy

CoSy is Oxford’s shared training management ecosystem. When your department joins CoSy, you are onboarding to the Accessplanit booking system — the core platform used to manage course bookings, delegate communications, payments, and reporting.

Accessplanit is supported by a wider suite of services under the CoSy umbrella, including training data reporting, eLearning hosting, course signposting, certificates, surveys, and strategic partnerships with external tools.

This page explains how to get started with Accessplanit, what’s involved in onboarding, and how to prepare your team.

Onboarding Process

Step 1: Initial Consultation

  • Meet with the Training Management and Development Team to:
  • Discuss your training needs and course formats
  • Understand licensing costs and service options
  • Explore optional services like eLearning hosting and reporting

Costs to consider:

  • Each CoSy administrator requires an annual licence, paid by the training group
  • Onboarding fees apply for new departments (pricing available on request)

Step 2: Accessplanit Setup

  • Assign training administrators (each requires a licence)
  • Configure your Accessplanit environment (course templates, workflows, branding)
  • Set up integrations (e.g. payment gateway, reporting access)

 Step 3: Administrator Training

  • Enrol in the Administrator Training Programme (link to widget page)
  • Access quick reference guides and support materials
  • Join the Community of Practice for ongoing peer support
  • Sign up to the Accessplanit helpdesk portal

CoSy is Oxford’s shared training management ecosystem. It includes the Accessplanit booking system, training data reporting, course signposting, eLearning hosting, certificates, surveys, and support services.

Each training administrator requires an annual licence, which is paid by the training group. Onboarding fees also apply for new departments — pricing is available on request.

Yes. If you're a training provider already using CoSy, you can host SCORM-compliant eLearning directly. Other departments can use our chargeable hosting and support service.

New administrators receive onboarding and training through the Administrator Training Programme. The Training Management and Development Team provides ongoing support, and peer support is available via the Community of Practice and the Accessplanit helpdesk.

This depends on your team’s readiness, the staff time you have available and the complexity of your training setup. Most departments complete onboarding within 5-6 weeks, including training and system configuration.
