Strategic partnerships and pilots

We are partnering with external providers to enhance the CoSy ecosystem with specialist tools:

  • Coursecheck – for collecting and analysing delegate feedback
  • Accredible – for issuing secure digital certificates and virtual badges
  • Verbit – for AI-powered transcription and accessibility support

These tools are being piloted with selected training teams and may be offered more widely as part of future service development.

Support for training providers

A new Community of Practice is replacing the CoSy Hub — a collaborative space for training providers to share expertise, access guidance, and contribute to platform improvements.

Coordinated by the Training Management and Development Team, the Community of Practice offers:

  • Onboarding for new training providers
  • Training for CoSy administrators
  • Process documentation and service updates

The CoSy platform holds data about University members who have booked training with the participating Training Providers.  The Self-Service Training Data Reports Service allows approved staff to access training data and produce bespoke reports and analysis. This service is available to HR administrators, divisional and departmental administrators, Athena SWAN coordinators and training managers whose roles require them to report on training data. A service request needs to be submitted and approved to access this service.

No. CoSy is designed for non-matriculated and supplementary training. For academic programmes, the University’s virtual learning environment (Canvas) should be used.

Delegates who have any questions about a particular course should, in the first instance, contact the training team offering the course. They are there to support delegates and help with any inquiries.

If delegates need further assistance with using CoSy, they can contact cosy-support@it.ox.ac.uk, which is managed by the Training Management Team. This service is available between 08.30-17:00, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and University closures.

If you're looking to host your eLearning, the CoSy platform is a great option. If you're running an academic programme, the University’s VLE – Canvas – is the platform of choice for online learning; however, if you have eLearning that needs to be delivered to University members, particularly staff, CoSy is available.

If you're a Training Provider already using CoSy, you're all set to host your own eLearning

Otherwise, the Training Management team can host your eLearning for a setup and annual support cost.

If you are interested in using CoSy to manage the training activities of your University group at Oxford, contact cosy-support@it.ox.ac.uk

Please note that each training administrator has an annual license cost, which is paid for by each training group. It's important to keep this in mind when budgeting for your training programme.  The Training Management team also charges onboarding costs (prices on application).
