Rapidmooc is a self-service video booth that allows you to make professional quality videos easily, without specialist skills or post-production. It works using green screen technology. Screencasts can be created using a series of backgrounds and creators can utilise a variety of options to create engaging content for their prospective viewers.
University members can use the Rapidmooc to record and produce learning videos such as:
• mini-lectures presenting academic content
• short summaries of academic papers
• pitches for elective lectures
• staff training and induction videos
• presentations of student projects

How to book
1. Complete the short introductory training module
This short, 10 minute eLearning module not only gives you tips and advice on how to use the studio as well as the Rapidmooc, it will also save you time when you arrive to start using them. If you are booking the service on behalf of someone else, please make sure they complete this module as well.
2. Book the Rapidmooc
Check the availability on our course listing page and find the slot that best suits you.
NOTE: If you try booking the Rapidmooc prior to completing the eLearning introductory training module, the system will recognise you do not meet the pre-requisites and will decline your request.
3. If you can no longer make the slot you have booked, please cancel it so that the slot is available for another group.
